Salary: £2,500 per annum (depending on experience)
Hours: Part Time: 12 hrs/week (Tuesday to Thursday, with flexibility, could include evening work and some weekend work).
Location: GlenrothesThe Friendship Cabin is an Adult Day Service run by volunteers based in Glenrothes, Fife. The programmes planned offer a wide range of social, intellectual and physical activities which helps improve one's quality of life and promote independence, health and wellbeing.
They have an exciting opportunity to appoint a new Volunteer Coordinator
The main purpose of the post includes:
- Manage volunteers, ensuring that they have the skills, knowledge and confidence and support to enable them to carry out their roles and responsibilities.
- Carry out initial induction, daily task allocation, monitoring of work, and individual development for all new and existing volunteers
- Delegate supervisory responsibility to volunteers.
- Supervision and role specific training of volunteer
