Helping Hand service stands down as Scotland moves out of lockdown

News/Events Category: FVA NewsWith the announcement of a significant easing of restrictions across most of Scotland, including the recent news that most of mainland Scotland will move into Level 2 of the Scottish Government's Routemap from 17 May, we have decided to formally stand down our Helping Hand service.
We will no longer accept Helping Hand requests - including prescription deliveries, shopping requests, or similar. Our Helping Hand service will now remain as a befriending service only - for more information on this service, please contact Jacquie Mellon.
If you need support/help and don't know whom to turn to, this Keeping Connected Fife leaflet details a range of local/national organisations that can help. Fife Forum also has a COVID-19: Resource and Support list that details the continuing support available to people.
