Fife Inspection by Care Inspectorate - 21 April to 13 July 2021
Created: 26/04/2021, Updated: 27/04/2021Fife Adult Support Protection Committee [ASPC] was formally notified on Monday 29 March of inspection from the Care Inspectorate.
The formal inspection process will commence on 21 April and will run until 13 July when the draft report will be received. The process will involve a multi-agency file audit (Police, Health and Social Work), a staff survey and staff focus group.
The Staff Survey is for all frontline staff and volunteers and will run for three weeks from 30 April 2021, further details will be sent out to all organisations commissioned by the partnership on that date. For further information please ask your line manager.
The Care Inspectorate have requested 1 Local Authority link person for all inspection related matters. Jennifer Rezendes (Service Manager Adult Services West - Health and Social Care Partnership) will be that link throughout the course of the Inspection.
Allan Small, Independent Public Protection Chair Fife Partnership, welcomes the inspection as an opportunity for Fife ASPC to be evaluated by the Care Inspectorate confirming Fife's own thoughts on how it work as a partnership to support and protect adults at risk of harm in Fife. Any suggestions made by the Care Inspectorate at the end of the inspection will be welcome and used to drive forward Fife's journey of continuous improvement.
The ASPC team will provide committee members with regular updates and will reach out to you to ensure that your service and staff members are aware of how they can contribute towards the inspection process.
