It is too late to book a place for this particular session, sorry about that.Living Streets Scotland is running an age-inclusive spaces for walking workshop from 10:00 - 11:30 from Friday 30 April 2021.
This workshop will reflect on the learning from the Walking Connects project, exploring what we can do together to find solutions and promote local, everyday walking. Living Streets Scotland has worked with older adults, and listened to their stories, and worked together to tackle the issues that make everyday walking a step too far. It has also worked with roads teams and other technical staff and heard their frustrations, why they want to do more and the restrictions of ‘following the guidelines’ and finding budget.
This workshop is aimed at technical teams, voluntary sector and local authorities staff, and anyone interested in how working together to create age-inclusive spaces for walking.
