    The Austin and Hope Pilkington Trust gives grants to registered charities that work in the UK. It focuses on specific priorities every year. The 2021 categories now open are:

    • Grant rounds 4 - Refugees and Asylum Seekers.

    Grant Round 4 will focus on projects and initiatives that will help address the under-representation of BAME people in all sections of the arts. All grant rounds in 2022 will focus on the arts.

    Who can apply?

    The funder will only award grants to organisations registered with the Charity Commission (England, Wales and Northern Ireland) or OSCR, or exempt from registration.

    For Rounds 44, the charity's operating income and operating expenditure must be a minimum of £1 million. There is no maximum income or expenditure.

    Minimum annual income: £100,000 Maximum annual income: £1,000,000

    When to apply?

    It has four grant rounds per year, each with a different theme. In 2021, Grant Rounds 1 and 2 are focused on Homelessness and Rounds 3 and 4 on Refugees and Asylum Seekers.

    Grant round 4 is open from 01 - 30 September 2021.
