  • Supporting student carers in higher education - online course

    Created: 10/03/2021
    News/Events Category: General News

If you work with carers who are planning to go to university or if you support student carers, the new Carer Aware at University course the Open University launched in February is intended to increase your understanding of their experiences and how to support them. The OpenLearn Create course was created in partnership with student carers, Carers Trust Scotland, the Scottish Funding Council and other universities, and has two levels – Carer Aware and Going Higher – that each takes an hour and you can gain a digital badge.

The course is free and can be completed at any time.
