The Project Officer for public engagement role is primarily to engage with and support public members particularly those who use H&SCP services (such as carers) so that they can effectively influence change. This will involve working as part of a small team of public engagement officers and other key stakeholders to develop effective processes and mechanisms to hear from people who use services, what their experience has been like and what they would like to see in their community. Also, to help them to identify and act on community needs and ambitions from the aspect of Health and Social Care Services.
Educated to SCQF level 9, which includes a degree or equivalent in Integrated Health and Social Care / Integrated Health and Social Care with Administration, Community Development, Social Services and healthcare subject or a relevant recognised professional qualification.
You will be required to obtain Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme membership through Disclosure Scotland.
