    News/Events Category: General News

Through the Violence Against Women team, the Improvement Service has recently started working in collaboration with the Scottish Government, COSLA and NHS Education for Scotland on the National Trauma Training Programme. The aim of the Programme is to develop a trauma-informed Scotland that understands the impact of trauma on people and, in doing so, improves outcomes and life chances.

Traumatic events and experiences are more common in our population than was previously recognised and we all have a role to play in understanding and responding to people affected by psychological trauma.

The Improvement Service has launched this survey to help them, and partners, understand more about current levels of understanding of psychological trauma across the workforce, and to what extent trauma-informed practice is currently embedded, and where additional support may be required in future.

The survey will only 5 minutes of your time. The closing date is Friday 05 March 2021
