LEAD Scotland is running online safety classes to give up-to-date advice and information about important topics like passwords, online scams and cyber attacks so you can feel more confident that you can use the internet while protecting yourself.

These classes are especially useful for disabled people but are open to everyone. The charity is also giving webinars for practitioners and organisations about how to give online safety information in an accessible manner.

How to promote digital safety to those with low IT confidence

1 in 5 adults in Scotland lack basic digital skills and some people don’t feel very confident using the internet. This webinar will support practitioners and organisations who work with or care for people with low confidence using technology so they can effectively use digital safety measures. LEAD Scotland will discuss practical tips and methods for promoting confidence while using basic security features and explore why they are important.
