Created: 27/01/2021LEAD Scotland is running online safety classes to give up-to-date advice and information about important topics like passwords, online scams and cyber attacks so you can feel more confident that you can use the internet while protecting yourself.
These classes are especially useful for disabled people but are open to everyone. The charity is also giving webinars for practitioners and organisations about how to give online safety information in an accessible manner.
Cyber Attacks: What to do and where to get help
Would you know what to do if your credit card details were stolen from a website or your digital device was controlled by criminals? This webinar will provide an accessible overview of what to do in you find that you’ve been the victim of a cyber-attack. It will feature detailed advice and practical support so that you can focus on minimising loss. At the end of the webinar, there will be an optional practical element, where everyone can put into practice what they’ve learned in the webinar.
