LEAD Scotland - How to remember your passwords
Created: 27/01/2021LEAD Scotland is running online safety classes to give up-to-date advice and information about important topics like passwords, online scams and cyber attacks so you
can feel more confident that you can use the internet while protecting yourself.
These classes are especially useful for disabled people but are open to everyone. The charity is also giving webinars for practitioners and organisations about how to give online safety information in an accessible manner.
How to remember your passwords
The average person has around 100 passwords for different online accounts, like social media and shopping websites. How are you supposed to remember them all? This webinar will give a more in-depth exploration of passwords, and how we can use password security to improve our daily digital lives. LEAD Scotland will explore how we can remember all of our passwords across more than one device, such as laptops, mobile phones and tablets. At the end of the webinar, there will be an optional practical element, where everyone can put into practice what they’ve learned in the webinar.
