    News/Events Category: General News

The Scottish Parliament is asking you to submit your views on five key questions surrounding the Scottish Government's updated Climate Change Plan (CCPu). Four parliamentary committees will review the plan and will look at the parts of the CCPu that relate to their remit. They are:

    • Environment, Climate Change and Land Reform Committee
    • Economy, Energy and Fair Work Committee
    • Local Government and Communities Committee
    • Rural Economy and Connectivity Committee

The committees will look at the updated Climate Change plan, which was laid in the Parliament on 16 December 2020 to see how it contributes to meeting emissions reduction targets.

Responses should be sent to the relevant committee(s) according to their remit (responses can be sent to all five committees if appropriate).

The deadline for responses is 12 January 2021.

You can read the five questions and see which committees are involved and their policy-focus here.
