    Created: 24/11/2020
    News/Events Category: General News

    If you’re over 50 and have concerns about your drinking or you’re worried about someone else, We Are With You's Over 50s Alcohol Helpline will offer you free, confidential advice about alcohol and ageing.

    The Helpline's expert advisors are all trained, experienced alcohol workers. They can offer:

    • advice about alcohol’s impact on your health as you get older;
    • tips for cutting down; and
    • help finding other support.

    The helpline can be accessed by calling 0808 801 0750 and it is open:

    • Monday to Friday, 12:00 - 18:00
    • Saturday and Sunday, 10:00 - 16:00

    If you’re not ready to speak to an advisor, then you can check out this over 50s alcohol health check to find out how alcohol could be affecting your health.
