    Salary: £21,000 pro-rata

    Hours: 15 hours per week (year 1), including evening and weekend work as part of the role.

    Pension: The employee will be assessed under auto-enrolment pension legislation and if eligible, minimum contributions will be made.

    Annual Leave: 25 days, plus public bank holidays pro rata

    Contract: Part-Time, 12 months fixed-term post

    Location: St Luke’s Scottish Episcopal Church, Auchmuty, Glenrothes.

    Role: An exciting opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to be part of the community project known as Peace ‘n’ Jam.

    In this role as Community Development Worker, you will take a lead in developing and supporting the establishment of a community café and social hub within St Luke's Church.

    There is already exciting work taking place, and they are looking for someone with energy and initiative who will focus on connecting people and community organisations in Auchmuty and the surrounding area.

    Operating from the project’s base at St. Luke’s Church in Auchmuty, (or from home where practical and feasible), you will work independently as a key member of the project. You will undertake a variety of duties and have the opportunity to work on a flexible basis.

    Applicants should be reliable with a positive and flexible approach to work.

    This role requires a Basic disclosure.
