ENABLE Scotland Family Connect Seminars
Created: 13/11/2020ENABLE Scotland's Family Connect is an information and advice line for carers. You can also find them on Facebook by searching ENABLE Scotland Family Connect. They are there to provide information and advice to carers.
They have supported carers with issues such as Education, Self Directed Support and Welfare rights in the past. They often refer enquires to others in ENABLE Scotland who better understand and can provide direct support and action to help and also share regular well-being support information to carers and weekly seminars on different topics. ENABLE have held seminars in the past with Ian Nisbet - an Education Law solicitor and also held seminars with the Mental Welfare Commission, ENABLE Scotland's Welfare Rights specialist, ENABLE Works on employment, a Deaf Awareness seminar and have upcoming seminars with Stay Up Late campaign, Jo's Cervical Cancer Trust. All of their meetings are held over Zoom where you can join and ask questions, listen to the presentations, meet other carers and find out some information that might help you better understand your rights.
