Latest COVID-19 guidance for Fife
Created: 23/10/2020, Updated: 29/10/2020The spread of the COVID-19 virus has increased in recent weeks and this has prompted the Scottish Government to take additional action to help suppress the transmission of the virus across Scotland.
On 29 October 2020, the Government announced the COVID protection level for each local area and has provided information on what you can and cannot do at each level. Fife Council area has fallen into Level 2, though this is subject to change if the virus transmission rate increases. Find out about the Level 2 restrictions here.
The Government's core message remains that each of us must continue to follow the latest public health guidance and rules surrounding hand washing, physical distancing, reporting symptoms and self-isolating.
If you or you know someone who has any symptoms of COVID-19, please visit coronavirus.nhsfife.org for information on the Test & Protect Service and how to arrange a virus test.
If you have been asked to self-isolate by the Test & Protect Service on or after 28th September 2020 and meet the criteria, you can apply for a Self Isolation Grant.
Applications for these grants are now open.
