    Created: 03/08/2020
    News/Events Category: General News

The self-isolation period has been extended from 7 to 10 days for those in the community who have coronavirus (COVID-19) symptoms or a positive test result, as per the statement from the UK Chief Medical Officers issued on 30 July 2020. Those who have been in contact or live with an individual who has symptoms of COVID-19/tested positive will still have to self-isolate for 14 days.

NHS inform has updated its guidance for households with possible coronavirus infection to reflect this change.
