  • Comic Relief Grant – Next Step Initiative (BAME groups)

    Created: 29/07/2020
    News/Events Category: Funding and Finance

The Next Step Initiative (NSI) and Comic Relief grant programme will provide financial support and improved vital capacity to Black Minority Ethnic (BAME) community groups across Scotland in recognition of the disproportionate impact the pandemic has had on BAME communities and seeks to address these inequalities as part of Comic Relief’s wider Covid-19 crisis response. The NSI is the first BAME Charity in Scotland to act in the capacity of an intermediary grant-making organisation providing micro-grants to African, Caribbean & Ethnic Minority third sector organisations across Scotland.

    Who can apply?

African, Caribbean & Ethnic Minority registered Charities, voluntary and community organisations across Scotland can apply for this fund, which opened on the 20 July 2020. Decisions will be made on a rolling basis until 12:00 on 17 October 2020. Guidance notes and Application forms for these grants are available now on the NSI website.
