Our Minds Matter funded “Be That Person”, a short film which celebrates positive experiences of young people in Fife and promotes the five ways approach to wellbeing. The film was developed through collaboration between young people, community youth groups, staff from across the directorate, and third sector agencies.
A reflective workshop has been developed to support practitioners to consider the impact of Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) and trauma on young people and families that they work with. The workshop includes a screening of the film and encourages practitioners to reflect on and develop their practice, using the five ways.
The Be That Person workshop has been adapted and they are now able to offer it virtually which should last 2 hours. They are offering it to all staff in the E&CS Directorate, as well as partner services so that they can network and share experiences collaboratively.
If you are interested in attending this workshop, please sign up for the course on CLMS if you are a council employee, or e-mail [email protected] if you are a partner service.
