  • Public survey - video consulting within health and social care settings

    Created: 02/07/2020
    News/Events Category: General News

The Scottish Government and NHS Scotland are looking at a secure form of video consulting service that lets people have health and social care appointments from home or wherever is convenient.

The service is called Near Me and can be used in any care setting, for both routine long-term condition appointments and for acute care. To access this service, people do need a device for making video calls, like a smartphone, and an internet connection.

The Scottish Government would like to know what people think about this service and are asking for people to submit their views here. All views must be submitted by Friday 24 July 2020.
