  • Kingdom Housing Association - Support Worker

    Created: 17/06/2020
    News/Events Category: Job Vacancies

    Post: Support Worker

Hours: 20, 25, and 30 hour minimum hour contracts are available

Salary: £9.50 per hour unqualified, £9.75 per hour qualified

They provide care and support to people to live in their own homes and to have as full a life as possible and to be part of their local community. On a day-to-day basis you may go to the cinema, shopping, out for lunch, visit a nail salon or go on day trips to Edinburgh, Glasgow or further afield. They also support people with the less fun things in life such as housework, paying bills, tasks we all have to do but we recognise the sense of achievement a person can gain from learning these skills.

To support staff into the service, they offer a comprehensive induction period with training tailored to the service and a buddy system so new staff have the support of the whole team. The service is set up as core and cluster so your colleagues are always nearby if you need them.
