It is too late to book a place for this particular session, sorry about that.The Poverty Alliance is hosting a series of free webinars that will consider the issues and themes, the policies and practices, the tactics and campaigns needed to ensure that a post COVID-19 future is a better one.
The next webinar in the 'Build Back Better' series will look at the how COVID-19 and the charities response to it has had a particular impact on disabled people. The webinar will ask on the following questions:- As disabled people are more likely to experience poverty, how then has the response supported or made worse the situation of disabled people?
- What are the key issues that people are facing now and what are they challenges that we will have to meet as we come out of the lock down?
- As charities begins to plan for an economic and social recovery, what are some of the policies and practices that need to be in place to ensure that the rights and experiences of disabled people are at the heart of this recovery
