    It is too late to book a place for this particular session, sorry about that.

    This workshop will be an overview of background checking, with particular attention to response-based activities and informal volunteering. It will explore:

    • The requirement for background checking during the pandemic crisis and associated response activities;
    • The different types of disclosure check available (e.g. Basic, Standard, Enhanced and PVG Scheme) and which roles require which type of check;
    • Safe recruitment and other good practice measures.

    The link for the Zoom call will be sent out shortly before the Forum, along with a password, which you will need to access the Forum. You're welcome to use video or just audio; Zoom allows you to choose. You don't need to download any software; simply follow the link we send out next week and enter the password when prompted.
