    Hours: Shift pattern, Bank Staff
Salary: £10.04 per hour pro rata
    Locations: Various locations in Fife
    Contract Type: Casual/Relief

If you are compassionate and would like to help people to remain living at home during the challenges we face through COVID-19, you could join Fife's Health and Social Care Partnership's team of bank home carers.

In this role you would work as part of a Home Care team providing direct care and support for vulnerable people living in their homes across Fife. The role is very rewarding but can be physically challenging at times, so you should be fit to undertake these tasks.  Duties may include but will not be limited to:

    • preparing meals and helping people with eating,
    • bathing/showering and toileting safely if they cannot manage independently and
    • using any equipment such as hoists, bathing aids and wheelchairs.

Work is undertaken on a shift pattern basis and as part of your induction, you will initially work with an experienced member of staff.  You will be paid an appropriate rate of pay for the role and as it involves travelling between service users homes, travel expenses will be paid for people using their own car.

You will be fully supported to undertake the training necessary for this role, you will be provided with a uniform, handheld device, personal protective equipment and any other equipment that is necessary.
