Fife Council - Supporting Emotional Health and Wellbeing: Our Minds Matter Two-Day Training
Created: 09/03/2020This free two-day course is suitable for anyone who provides Emotional Wellbeing support to young people across Education, Social Work, the NHS and partner services. The course aims to bring participants together to network and reflect on emotional health and wellbeing and the Our Minds Matter framework. Participants will look at emotional wellbeing from conception to late adolescence and consider their understanding of normal developmental stages and behaviours.
Attendees will participate in a variety of activities that can be used to support and promote the mental wellbeing of children, families and themselves including anxiety, emotional regulation and active listening. The importance of building partnership working will also be a key theme of the programme. The two-day course will be led by members of the CAMHS Early Intervention Service. The course will be held at Playfield Institute within the grounds of Stratheden Hospital. Lunch will be provided and there will be an evening meal provided on the first day which all participants are encouraged to attend.
