  • Let's go back in time - new Reminiscene Hub opens in Glenrothes to dementia sufferers

    Created: 05/03/2020
    News/Events Category: General News

Care provider Kingdom Homes Limited has unveiled the new interactive Reminiscence Hub at its Preston House base in Glenrothes.

The project is based on the success of reminiscence therapy, a treatment that uses all the senses to evoke memories in individuals showing signs or symptoms of dementia, or to benefit those who have difficulties in communicating themselves.

Visitors will be offered a free coffee and to sit in the chat café, which will house equipment, resources and memorabilia specifically designed to stimulate memories, encourage conversation and promote the sharing of stories.

For further information, or to make a future booking to visit the hub, should contact Paula Paterson from Kingdom Homes Limited, on 01592 210078.
