You will be the first point of contact for Equal Voice callers and will be involved in assisting with enquiries about their charity and supporting callers with a wide range of queries. Care, compassion, safeguarding and confidentiality is at the heart of everything they do. They are looking for a motivated, enthusiastic and committed individual with excellent organisational and communication skills, with a track record in providing administrative support. As well as being familiar with programmes such as Word, Excel, and Outlook, you will be able to work to deadlines and manage a steady workload. Experience in event organisation, minute taking, and handling petty cash and other financial administrative tasks, include booking venues, updating records and database information, providing support at events as well as word processing, photocopying, filing, distribution of mail and answering telephones are all essential. This post will help to ensure the smooth day to day running of the office and to support their team. Successful candidates should have the capability to work on their own initiative as well as part of a team. The job is funded by The National Lottery Community Fund and is temporary until the end of October 2022.
