We will meet to discuss Fife's new Mental Health Startegy which, following a considerable effort by many over the last twelve months or so, has transformed the thinking around mental health services in Fife providing the third sector with an opportunity to influence future service design and provision.
We will also get feedback from the new Mental Health Strategic Implementation Group Meetings [MHSIG] from Pegs Bailey, Employability Development Manager here at Fife Voluntary Action, which first met back on 21 November 2019 and meet our new third sector MHSIG representative, Joanne Kozial, who has just accepted the role on behalf of the Forum.
We will get an update on the proposed review of third sector mental health service provision in Fife from our Health and Social Care partnership colleagues and develop the discussions between the Partnership and the third sector on future commissioning intentions.
Membership of the Forum is open to all staff and trustees with constituted third sector organisations operating in the Fife area in the field of health and social care (i.e. it's not just for organisations that focus entirely on mental health).
The next Mental Health Forum is scheduled for Thursday 11 June 2020, 10am to 12 Noon at Fife Voluntary Action, Caledonia House, Pentland Park, Saltire Centre, Glenrothes, KY6 2AL
