This is an exciting opportunity to lead on the introduction of The Coalfields Regeneration Trust’s ‘Game on Scotland’ programme. Game On is an award winning programme that uses the power of sport, in particular football, to engage young people, from former mining communities, in exercise, volunteering and skills development.

The priority will be to co-ordinate and manage current delivery of our sporting activities and to establish new projects and programmes that will quickly build the numbers of young people engaging in sport. The vision for the programme is to develop opportunities for a wide range of ages and backgrounds that improve the health outcomes for their coalfields population and increase the numbers of people taking part in healthy lifestyle activities.

You will lead on all aspects of the Game On Scotland programme and be responsible for; managing delivery; exploring new business development opportunities; expanding the programme; building relationships with stakeholders; growing new partnerships and communicating the impact of the activities.
