This event is being organised by Fife Voluntary Action
It is too late to book a place for this particular session, sorry about that.NHS speech and language therapist Lorna Nicholson will be joining us. Lorna will share about their ‘Giving Voice’ campaign which seeks to provide the necessary information and support available to those who have difficulty expressing themselves.
In this forum, participants will....
- Be able to contribute to discussions on what more can be done to promote speech and language therapy throughout the Fife area
- Hear first hand about the 'Giving Voice's' upcoming ‘Inclusive Communication Event’, where speakers will highlight the daily difficulties experienced by individuals living with communication difficulties
- Attendees will have an opportunity to share their thoughts around topics within the health and social care sector that affect them
We also hope to have a Scottish Parliament representative join us to help the Forum to repond to the Health and Sport Committee's inquiry into Social Care which closes on Thursday 20 February 2020. See here for more detail.

- Individual stories and experiences of social care in Fife and
- What people would change about their experience of social care.
Our forum is open to any third sector organisation working within the health and social care sector in Fife. The forum is a fantastic space for third sector colleagues to come along and hear about key developments in health and social care in Fife and Nationally, discuss significant issues and network with other third sector organisations.
