Growing Kirkcaldy’s secretary, Judith Kerr has let us know about their pride and delight in being awarded a "Silver Gilt " medal at the Britain in Bloom awards recently. You can see photos and more details on their Facebook page. On behalf of the group, Judith said “Thank you so much for your work about our town and hopefully we can keep growing until we make that gold”.

FVA are glad to add their congratulations to those from around the county and if anyone would like to volunteer with them, here’s details of the opportunity!

St Andrew’s and Dunfermline were winners on the night too, with volunteers achieving (respectively) a Gold Medal in the Coastal Category and a Silver Gilt Medal in the Town Centres & City category. There are lots more details on the Keep Scotland Beautiful site.

We send our congratulations to you all.
