Due to new business Kingdom Support and Care are expanding their services in the Falkirk area. They provide support for individuals with autism who present behaviours of challenge but that is a small part of what they do. They prefer to focus on fun activities and building respectful and understanding relationships. The more fun and enjoyable experiences a person has, the less they will display behaviours of challenge.
The Role
Kingdom Support and Care provide care and support to people to live in their own homes and to have as full a life as possible and to be part of their local community. On a day-to-day basis you may go to the cinema, shopping, out for lunch, visit a nail salon or go on day trips to Edinburgh, Glasgow or further afield. They also support people with the less fun things in life such as housework, paying bills, tasks they all have to do but they recognise the sense of achievement a person can gain from learning these skills.
They are looking for upbeat, confident and energetic people to join our teams in Falkirk and the surrounding areas. New team members bring new ideas and thoughts which is something they always welcome and learn from, so come and help them to continue to develop and provide great support!
To support staff into the service, they offer a comprehensive induction period with training tailored to the service and a buddy system so new staff have the support of the whole team. The service is set up as core and cluster so your colleagues are always nearby if you need them.
