Fife Women’s Aid are looking for a Family Support Worker to join their team. The Family Support Service helps mothers to improve their parenting skills and create a new family-life structure where children can thrive and enjoy their childhood. Applicants will have at least 2 years’ experience of working in a similar environment, supporting isolated mothers and their children. A good understanding of domestic abuse and its effects is important.
For this post it is essential to have excellent communication skills and an ability to work effectively with a range of multi-agency partners.
The successful applicants will have at least SVQ Level III or equivalent level of qualification in housing support or other relevant subject, or equivalent experience and willingness to work towards a qualification.
Membership of Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme is a requirement for this post.
