  • Action on Hearing Loss - Online Survey - Research into in work support and challenges

    Created: 05/09/2019
    News/Events Category: General News

Five million people of working age are deaf or have hearing loss or tinnitus, but very very little is known about the support people are getting – or not getting – to help them in work, and the impact that this has.

To find out more, Action on Hearing Loss are asking people who are currently in work to complete this survey.
The survey responses, which will provide evidence about the types of support that are most useful for Deaf or hard of hearing people at work, will help inform a Working for Change report to be published by Action on Hearing Loss in early 2020.

The survey asks questions to find out:

    • what support, if any, people are receiving in the workplace and how this helps
    • what support would be helpful in the workplace that is not being provided.

The findings will enable Action on Hearing Loss work with service providers and the government to improve the support services available for people who are deaf or have hearing loss or tinnitus in work.

Please share this link with those who have mild to profound hearing loss and/or tinnitus and currently in employment.
