Hours: 35 per week
Salary: £18,885 pro rataAge Concern Cupar works with partners in both the statutory and voluntary sectors, to promote inclusion opportunities for older people within their community.
The purpose of this new Co-ordinator post is to enable older people who have dementia, who may or may not access the ‘main hub’ within Age Concern Cupar, to have the same social engagement opportunities through daily lunches, regular outings, and support with individual concerns/issues etc.
The purpose of the job is to recruit, train and support volunteers who will work with those receiving this service to become actively engaged and involved within their communities.
The Volunteer Coordinator will provide regular support, guidance and any necessary training to volunteers. They will develop respectful working relationships with relevant agencies and other services, in order to maximise the opportunities for our clients to build a “personalised” input into their care needs.
The Project Worker will be responsible for their own workload, daily decision making and be expected to work with minimum supervision.
This post will be home based with opportunities to use office facilities when required. The post is initially for 6 months.
