It is too late to book a place for this particular session, sorry about that.

Mental health is an increasing focus for service providers, policy-makers, funders, the media and citizens.  Adverse mental health affects most people during their lifetime and it can have a major impact on people, families and communities.

In recognition of the growing importance of mental health as well as the scheduled publication of Fife Health and Social Care Partnership's new Mental Health Strategy (see pre-consultation draft here) Fife Voluntary Action is pleased to announce the refresh of the third sector Mental Health Forum.

This kick-off Forum meeting will welcome Suzanne McGuinness, Service Manager Improving Outcomes - Fifewide Division, Health and Social Care Partnership and her team who are tasked with reviewing third sector mental health service provision in Fife. Considerable work has gone into developing and consulting on the new Mental Health Strategy for Fife over the last twelve months which has transformed the thinking around mental health services in Fife. This provides the third sector with an opportunity to influence future service design and provision.

This meeting will contribute directly to the discussions between the Partnership and the third sector on future commissioning intentions.

    Who should attend?

The Forum is open to all staff and trustees with constituted third sector organisations operating in the Fife area in the field of health and social care (i.e. it's not just for organisations that focus entirely on mental health).
