    Post: After School Club Manager

    Hours: 32.5 per week (term time)

    Salary: £21,000-£25,000 (pro rata)

    Cupar After School Club are looking for a motivated and friendly manager to lead their team of child care providers and ensure they are providing a highly interactive, engaging and safe space for children ages 4-11 after school. The post requires someone who is able to balance the administration and management required by the post; ensuring all policies and procedures are in place to meet Care Inspectorate guidelines, undertaking daily financial management producing invoices and managing staff payroll, alongside supporting their team to deliver high quality childcare services. You will be the liaison with the building owners (Cupar YMCA) and ensure that the rented space is used appropriately and in line with the requirements of the lease. You will lead a small, but energetic team to safely collect children from local schools and create a timetable of activities and play opportunities that are fun but educational. Ongoing engagement with the children and their parents / carers who use the club, fostering involvement in shaping future events, fundraising and ensuring we are responsive to need is an important part of this role, and good communication skills are essential. The post holder will work Monday to Friday and be expected to attend a small number of evening meetings (Committee meetings and YMCA building meetings); the hours of work will only be performed during term time, although a small amount of administration may be required during summer months. A full PVG and SSSC registration are essential for this post.
