Greener Kirkcaldy - Learn to Sew (4 week programme)
Created: 20/05/2019, Updated: 21/05/2019Learn all the basic sewing skills in Greener Kirkcaldy's 4-week programme. Their expert seamstress, Gabbi, will teach you all you need to know to get you up and running and able to start your own projects. This 4-week programme will run on Tuesdays from 04 to 26 June and is aimed at beginners wanting to learn the basics and gain some skills. Their experienced sewing tutor, Gabbi, will take you through each step.
Weeks 1 and 2: basic hand sewing, getting to know your way around a sewing machine and basic machine stitching. Weeks 3 and 4: practice your skills while making a small item to take away with you, this will be something like a wash bag, apron, tote bag or cushion cover. All sewing equipment, materials and machines provided. Refreshments provided. Come along, learn a new skill and have some fun!
