It is too late to book a place for this particular session, sorry about that.

It happens every year - May comes right after April! And with it comes 'Music in May', the Langtoun Singers summer concert presentation.

The Choir is working hard with conductor Ella Wilson towards its next appearance and greatly looking forward to it.

Music in May 2019 takes place on Friday 24th May 2019 at 7.30pm in the Old Kirk, Kirkcaldy and features a mixture of music which will bring variety and delight to the audience.

In addition to a major contribution from the Langtoun Singers, there will be light music from the Langtoun Salon Orchestra returning after its initial performance in 2017 with gems such as Elgar's Chanson de Matin, Coates Sleepy Lagoon, Piazolla's Libertango and more. Two young local instrumental soloists will add to the variety, Douglas Morrison from Kirkcaldy on bass trombone and Nathan Jackson on marimba.

Music in May is always the Langtoun Singers charity fundraising concert and this year the recipients of funds will be the Cottage Family Centre in Kirkcaldy and Kinghorn's Ecology Centre.

Music in May is the trademark event of the Langtoun Singers and this year's concert will be the seventh, along with a second appearance of the Langtoun Salon Orchestra. Other guest performing groups have been AvisonPlus, the Kingdom Fiddlers, Uke That and Kingdom Brass.

Tickets for this popular event (£10), are available from choir members or by contacting 07715 496003.
