The organisers of Fife Pride are offering an opportunity to members and supporters of the LGBT community to get involved and be part of the team that organise Fife Pride.
Fife Pride has confirmed it will return to Kirkcaldy for a third annual event this summer. The big day has been confirmed for 06 Saturday and it is expected, once again, to bring huge numbers into the town
Neale Hanvey, who took over as co-convener of the Fife Pride team last spring, has opened up more opportunities to get more people involved to help plan Fife’s biggest celebration of inclusion which is due to take place on 06 July 2019.
He said: “We are reaching out to the LGBT community to ask them to help us be part delivering this year’s Fife Pride. We are looking for talented individuals, who have a variety of skills, we are particularly keen to hear from you if you have a background or experience in financial or budgetary management, event organising, team building, marketing or policy work.
We get fantastic support from the community on the day, but to make it all happen takes a lot of work. We are encouraging people to give up some of their time to help share this commitment to Fife’s LGBT festival, making sure that we continue to deliver a spectacular event”
So come along get involved and be part of helping deliver another Pride to be proud of, and helping make Fife one of the most inclusive areas to live in.
