This could involve moving and handling and personal care and helping to promote a positive, active and healthy lifestyle. The service supports individuals with a variety of needs, some have physical and/or learning disabilities and with limited verbal communication. Each person they support is unique so each support role will be different to the next, giving you the chance to really make a difference in that individuals life. Not only will you get a great sense of achievement but in return you can expect fantastic career progression opportunities, award winning training and a positive enjoyable working environment.
Previous experience is great but a full training program is offered to everyone who joins The Richmond Fellowship Scotland even if this is a new career path for you. What matters most is that you have the right values and the right attitude. PVG checks will be required of all successful applicants; having a conviction will not necessarily debar you from working in this sector.
