Created: 01/02/2019, Updated: 05/02/2019Deaf Communication Service is running Deaf Awareness Training and BSL Taster sessions throughout 2019. These sessions are open to all Fife Council Services, voluntary and private sector.
Deaf Awareness Training
Deaf Awareness Training is to help participants have a better understanding of those with a hearing loss.
The course will cover the following topics:
The training will be informal and various activities are done throughout the session for staff to be able to participate in the discussions.

Wednesday 20 February - 9.30am—12.30o'clock
Tuesday 19 March - 2 - 5pm
Tuesday 17 September - 9.30am—12.30o'clock
Wednesday 23 October - 2 - 5pm
Wednesday 20 November - 2 - 5pm
BSL Taster Sessions
Introductory Fun taster session on British Sign Language. Why not come along and learn a few signs and have some fun!
The course will cover the following topics:

Thursday 7th March - 9.30am—12.30o'clock
Tuesday 23 April - 9.30am—12.30o'clock
Tuesday 01 October - 9.30am—12.30o'clock
Wednesday 06 November - 2 - 5pm
Wednesday 04 December - 9.30am—12.30o'clock
All training sessions are held at Bankhead Central, Bankhead Park, Glenrothes, KY7 6GH.
