    Post: Personal Assistant

    Hours: 3 hours a day. Working 4 days on, 3 days off

    Salary: £8.75 per hour

    You will be required to assist a family to care for their 22 year old son who due to severe brain damage is fully care dependent. He is a happy young man who enjoys people reading to him, sitting and watching tv with him especially Big Bang Theory, and playing with his puppets. This is a physically demanding role as the young man is 6ft 10.

    Duties and responsibilities include assisting with getting up and getting ready in the morning and getting ready for bed at night. Provision of personal care inclusive of showering, bathing, drying and oral hygiene and assistance with toileting (wears nappies) and dressing. Use of manual hoist.

    You will work 8.30am-10.00am (1.5hs) and 6.00pm-8.30pm (1.5hs) working 4 days on, 3 days off.
