Passionate or interested in good community engagement?
Created: 16/01/2019, Updated: 17/01/2019Good community engagement delivers better outcomes for people and communities. Many groups and organisations are already making a real difference in communities across Fife but like most things, we think it could be better!
All community planning partners want to encourage everyone to get more involved and make it easier for people to work together to make a difference in Fife. With the renewed emphasis on improving engagement and the capacity to engage effectively as set out in the Plan 4 Fife - including promoting the use of a range of engagement approaches, such as the Place Standard and charettes, Fife Voluntary Action and Fife Council are relaunching the Community Engagement Champions Group to support a progressive partnership approach to community engagement across Fife.
Community engagement continues to be one of the key tools in the delivery of both public and third sector services. Everyone will be aware of its importance in the delivery of the key drivers for the Plan 4 Fife.
The Community Engagement Champions Group is for those who are passionate about good community engagement and want to play in role in developing practice in Fife.
