    Post: Manager

    Hours: 24 hours per week

    Salary: £10.40 per hour

    Reporting to the Board of Trustees, the Cupar Foodbank Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day management and effective operation of this valuable community service.  The successful candidate will have the ability to respond quickly to emergencies.

    Duties:

    • Recruitment, induction and management of volunteers, rotas and training.
    • Overseeing and controlling the operation of the Foodbank.
    • Controlling stock and rotation to avoid any waste.
    • Collection and distribution of food parcels.
    • Managing the Trussell Trust Database.
    • Promotion of the Foodbank within the local area, including school visits.
    • Linking to partner agencies as necessary.
    • Participation in relevant local authority partnerships.

    The successful candidate will have:

    • Strong communication skills.
    • Good interpersonal and organisational skills.
    • Computer and database experience.
    • Strong community links.
    • Good presentation skills.
