Salary: £10.40 per hour
Reporting to the Board of Trustees, the Cupar Foodbank Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day management and effective operation of this valuable community service. The successful candidate will have the ability to respond quickly to emergencies.
Duties:
- Recruitment, induction and management of volunteers, rotas and training.
- Overseeing and controlling the operation of the Foodbank.
- Controlling stock and rotation to avoid any waste.
- Collection and distribution of food parcels.
- Managing the Trussell Trust Database.
- Promotion of the Foodbank within the local area, including school visits.
- Linking to partner agencies as necessary.
- Participation in relevant local authority partnerships.
The successful candidate will have:
- Strong communication skills.
- Good interpersonal and organisational skills.
- Computer and database experience.
- Strong community links.
- Good presentation skills.
