  • Life Changes Trust - Independent Evaluation

    Created: 13/12/2018

The Life Changes Trust was established in 2013 to drive real and meaningful improvement in the lives of young people with experience of being in care and people affected by dementia. The Big Lottery Fund endowed the Trust with £50 million to be spent strategically over ten years to achieve transformational and sustainable change for its beneficiaries.

The Trust has recently passed the halfway mark in its ambitious ten-year mission and wishes to appoint an evaluator, or evaluators working in close collaboration, to assess:

    • the extent to which the Trust’s stated mission is being achieved for beneficiaries
    • how funding in a strategic way is contributing to better outcomes for the Trust’s beneficiaries
    • whether the strategic approach of the Trust, and its growing evidence base, is making a significant difference to the wider policy and practice landscapes relevant to its beneficiaries
    • if having a secure and substantial amount of money from the Big Lottery Fund Scotland has meant that change is being achieved more rapidly than would normally be the case

Bids must be from an organisation or a collaboration of organisations.

The deadline for applications is Friday 08 February 2019.
