  • Life Changes Trust - Dementia Friendly Communities

    Created: 13/12/2018
    News/Events Category: Funding and Finance

The Life Changes Trust’s dementia programme exists to:

    • create better lives for people with dementia and unpaid carers of people with dementia
    • demonstrate what works for people whose lives are affected by dementia
    • secure significant change in policy and, more importantly, practice for people with dementia and unpaid carers

Dementia Friendly Communities have been a core element of the Trust’s dementia strategy since 2015 and they are seeking dedicated, knowledgeable and creative evaluators who will examine the work of a very wide range of communities from all across Scotland.

Evaluators will have access to the self-evaluation evidence collected to date (since October 2015). Note that the Trust is commissioning a number of evaluation reports over the next year, including an overarching evaluation of the Trust’s overall approach. They will expect evaluators to share findings with those who are conducting the overall, high level evaluation of the Trust and to be mindful of the Trust’s overall timetable for gathering evidence for the purposes of influencing.

Bids must be from an organisation or a collaboration of organisations.

The deadline for applications is Friday 08 March 2019.
