  • TV Licensing scam warning

    Created: 25/09/2018
    News/Events Category: General News

Neighbourhood Watch has released a warning regarding fake TV Licence refund offers which may be sent to you via e-mail.

The links provided in the e-mails lead to phishing websites designed to steal personal and financial details.

The advice given is to always question unsolicited requests for your personal and / or financial information in case it’s a scam. Never automatically click on a link in an unexpected e-mail or text.

Please note that TV Licensing never sends refund information by e-mail and is investigating the source of this fraud.
