When: 9.30am-1.00pm, Tuesday 13 November 2018 Where: New Volunteer House, 16 East Fergus Place, Kirkcaldy, KY1 1XT This event is being organised by Fife Voluntary Action Costs This event is free to attend but to encourage attendance and try and ensure a good turnout to benefit all delegates, we will charge a non-attendance fee of £25.00 per delegate. By submitting a booking for this event you agree to pay this fee for those delegates who have places booked but do not attend.
Cancellations can be received up to 5 working days ahead of the event, thus avoiding non-attendance fees. A cancellation will only be valid if we have confirmed it with you. You can send somebody else in place of a booked delegate without incurring a non-attendance fee.

To help participants develop their ideas, skills and strategies regarding offering support to volunteers.
Topics to be covered on the course are:
What is support;
Methods of support;
Methods of supervision;
Managing difficult situations;
Dismissing/counselling out volunteers.
Who should attend
Anyone who has, or is expecting to have, responsibility for recruiting/managing volunteers in their organisation.
In order to offer places to as many organisations as possible, we are only able to offer two places on each date to members of the same organisation. If your organisation would like to send more than 2 people, please get in touch with us to discuss options with you.
We ask that you give us a minimum of 5 working days notice of cancellation. If you do not attend and either do not cancel or give less than 5 working days notice, then your organisation will be charged £25.00.
All participants will receive a certificate of attendance. Notes from the session will be provided to participants on completion of a post-training evaluation form which will be e-mailed to you.

Please note that other than for Blue Badge holders, there is no visitor parking available at this office.
