  • Environment, Climate Change and Land Reform Committee call for views

    Created: 04/07/2018
    News/Events Category: General News

The Environment, Climate Change and Land Reform Committee has launched a call for written evidence from all interested parties as part of its consideration of the Scottish Government 's Draft Budget 2019/20.

The revised budget process requires all committees to consider the Scottish Government Budget and report to Government in advance of its introduction.

The Committee is looking to identify the most cost effective preventative investments in the ECCLR portfolio and those that contribute most to achieving the Scottish Government’s National Outcomes. In order to focus the inquiry and explore the scope for wider benefits the Committee wishes to focus particularly on the National Outcomes related to health and the economy: "We are healthy and active” and “We have a globally competitive, entrepreneurial, inclusive and sustainable economy”.
